The Great Outdoors
Going Ons
Positions
It it winter time in Sherringwood Forest. Ever since the war has ended, even the heavens have been abit cherrier. Flower's petal's have fallen the wood is covered with a thick coat of heavy snow. The sun is covered by a dark grey cloud. Cooling River is frozen solid, and food is atrting to get hard to find.
12.26 // Hello there, this is Adden. I have good news and even greater news! The god news is, I am bringing Sherringwood back to life with new characters! New plots and new everything! The even greater news is....*drum roll* My mommy is getting a stem cell transplant! Which is a certain treatment the doctors are going to put her on, to get her cancer in remission. I just want to thank all my friends for keeping my mom in their prayers and to God Bless then. But enough with the ewwy gooy stuff, lets get this party started! *happy dance*br> 12.26 // Ok people since I'm rbinging Sheringwood back to life, I'm going to need some help.Big. Big. BIG help. I'm makeing Leto my Assistant Alpha since he is so spiffy! Also Roden shall be my Assistant Alphess as well, because she is spiffy too! ^__^ He has kept Mendoza alive for a really long time, so appently he has the magic touch with these wolf roleplaying boards ^__^ These are the plots that are going on currently: Trouble might be brewing as Daeva offers to bring back Shaylilue, daughter of Shiminkore who died in the last war of Sherringwood. Also, a new pack of evil has formed outside of Sherrigwood and Volduntair is back! He is a prisoner in the temple of Daeva. I'm thinking we should still keep these plots, but I would like to make room for some new ones. Sujestions are adored so if you have one, tell me on the plots board. This is Adden, over and out.
Daeva's Temple In the southeast corner of Death Valley lies a temple. The grounds around it are covered in the lushest of grasses. The outside looks like an oversized stone cottage- the oddly shaped stones that were used to build it visable. About three quarters of the temple is covered in deep emerald ivy vines.
The first floor is rather odd for a wolf. Flame that burns endlessly on torches cast light from the stone walls over the carpeted floor. The entire story is themed victorian. The priceless rugs, the enchanting fireplaces. Beautiful furniture made of gold with red satin pillows sit here and there. A bookshelf. 'Call of the Wild', 'White Fang', and many other books adorned the cherry wood shelves. Against the far right wall, a spiral staircase burded by thick red carpet shot upward, heading for the second floor.
Short tables, perfect for a wolf, dot the room. On some, there are stacks of even more books, these all nonfictional about nature, animals, and the like. On others, there are small wooden boxes adorned with jewels and golden embroidery. Inside these boxes are piles of golden rings. What are these for? Well, you'll just have to find that out for yourself. On one table is a clear ball filled with what seems to be smoke. But, actually, it is filled with a tiny peice of every deceased wolf's spirit. This can be used by a select few to speak with the deceased no matter where their spirit may lie. Also, through the eyes of these spirits, those select few can see any wolf they chose- living or dead. They can hear everything that is being said, in their mind ofcourse, no matter if this particular conversation was meant grace their ears or not. To the far right, a slanted ladder made up of broad, flat boards so that a wolf can easily climb it; leads to the third floor.
The third floor is rather hard to describe in words. No sunlight adorns the smooth gray tile floor for there are no windows, atall. Tiny tables with circular tops dot the room, a silver silky cloth covering each one. On every table is a small dish of silver and glass mixed, and on each dish is a candle of pure white. Not off white, but the kind of white that comes with fresh snow. The flame that burns there is white aswell, and the light that spills across the room is a light, light blue. The entire room holds a mysterious, yet beautiful air. Piles of silk cloth and grey, satin pillows can be found here and there, so soft to the touch that if a wolf were to sleep there- the sleep would come quickly and would refresh even the tiredest of souls. In the cornder, a large silver bowl is filled with the purest of water. On the far right wall, stands a large sheet of glass, like all temples, but it is of use only for the gods. Moderator: Roden
